I've been recently getting into mythology and was so excited to find this book! There's not a lot out there about Ancient Sumerian myths and this is such a great collection. Love how the stories are written like they are tales being passed down and told by elders instead of trying to modernize them. Really enjoyed learning about Inana, the Sumerian pantheon, and all the random details about how life was back then. Particularly love the story 'Inana and Enki Drink Together'. Highly recommend for anyone else interested in mythology or just looking for something different and interesting to read.
